I don’t own one of these, but I’m definitely putting it on my holiday wish list. Travel photos—even digital ones—are so yesterday. But camcorders are so cumbersome to carry around—or at least they were. The Flip has changed all that. Weighing in at well under a pound and not much bigger than a BlackBerry, this is the camcorder you can take anywhere. Not only that, but you can plug it right into a USB port in your laptop and send videos to friends and family back home while you’re still miles—or continents—away. Depending on the model you choose, it takes either 60 or 120 minutes of video, and the built-in software allows you to edit, and, yes, even capture still photos right on your computer.
